In a recent report, Dutch news outlet ED claimed that Everton are showing interest in PSV Eindhoven youngster Isaac Babadi this summer. It has been mentioned that the Toffees are eyeing a move to secure the services of the Dutch winger in this off-season.

Babadi’s Impressive Rise In Dutch Football

Babadi is a product of PSV Eindhoven’s youth system and deserves credit for establishing himself as an important member of their Under-21 side. The 18-year-old has made 34 appearances for PSV’s U-21 team so far, finding the back of the net five times and grabbing four assists across all competitions.

The Dutch starlet is still waiting to feature for the Dutch club’s senior team. However, he has done really well to prove his worth in the youth levels of Dutch football. The future looks quite bright for the youngster as long as he continues to improve his all-round game with each year.

Babadi is under contract at PSV until the end of next season. Therefore, the Toffees have a good chance of bringing him to Merseyside on a cut-price deal this summer.

Everton Are Showing Interest In Babadi: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Babadi can make a few decent runs with the ball out on the flanks. The Dutch wonderkid can strike the ball with venom from long range and can create some inviting chances for his teammates when he is playing with confidence on the pitch. Babadi is primarily a left-sided wide player but can also fill in as an attacking midfielder or as a box-to-box midfielder if required.

However, the gifted youngster is still quite inexperienced at the highest level and would need time to settle into life in Premier League football if Everton manage to get him on board this summer.

At 18, Babadi has begun to show what he is capable of in Dutch football. He is undeniably a prospect to watch out for in the future, so the Toffees will do well to bring him to Goodison Park during this summer transfer window.

However, Sean Dyche will have to be patient with his progress if he wants to unlock the best out of the Dutch talent at the Merseyside club.
