Everton are one of the most famous clubs in English football. They have been a constant presence in the Premier League since the league’s inception on 15 August 1992. The Toffees found themselves in a relegation dogfight in the 2022-23 campaign as Sean Dyche took over as their manager to rescue the club from getting demoted to the EFL Championship.

With Everton struggling to find consistency in the Premier League, let’s find out when was the last time they got relegated to the Championship.

The Merseyside club last suffered relegation back in the 1950-51 campaign. However, they managed to get back to playing top-flight football a few years later and have since never been relegated again.

Arsenal are the only club to have been in the English top-flight more than Everton. Sean Dyche is hoping to help the Toffees avoid getting demoted to the Championship at the end of this campaign.
