Real Madrid faced off against Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the 33rd minute when Diego Lopez found the back of the net for the home team. Carlo Ancelotti’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

The Madrid giants failed to mount a comeback in the second half. Vinicius Jr. was sent off by the referee in injury time as the match finished with Real Madrid suffering a hard-fought 1-0 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the match against Valencia.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 7/10

The Belgian keeper made a few important saves at the back but would be disappointed after conceding a goal in the first half.

RB: Lucas Vazquez – 6/10

CB: Eder Militao – 6.5/10

He made a couple of important clearances at the back and was a strong presence in the air.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 6.5/10

The German talent didn’t do much wrong at the back and won a couple of aerial duels as well.
