Leeds United will face off against West Ham United on Sunday afternoon as they try to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Whites managed to earn a hard-fought 2-2 draw versus Newcastle United recently which will give them some confidence ahead of this game.
The West Yorkshire club will set themselves up in a 4-3-3 formation with Pascal Struijk expected to play from the start as the left-back due to the absence of Junior Firpo who is suspended for this game.
4-3-3 Leeds United Predicted Lineup To Face West Ham United
Defence
Joel Robles will play in goal for the Whites after shipping in a couple of goals in his last league outing. Maximilian Wober will play alongside Robin Koch at the centre of Leeds’ backline as they try to keep the West Ham attackers quiet throughout the game.
Luke Ayling will try to give a good account of himself as the left-back while Pascal Struijk gets a chance to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them need to defend their lines well if Leeds are to pick up a good result in the Premier League this weekend.
Rasmus Kristensen will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Sam Greenwood, Adam Forshaw and Weston McKennie will anchor the midfield for Sam Allardyce’s side as they try to make life tough for the opposition at the centre of the park.
Marc Roca will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the second half if Allardyce decides to call upon his services.
Attack
Jack Harrison will focus on putting his pace to good use on the left flank while Wilfried Gnonto hopes to impress as the right-sided wide player. Rodrigo could get a chance to spearhead Leeds’ attack up top. He has to find a way to cause problems for the West Ham defenders during the 90 minutes.
Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages if the Whites are in need of a goal by then.
