Manchester City entertained Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they look to pick up a win and book a place in the final of the UEFA Champions League. Pep Guardiola‘s men made an electric start to the game as they scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute thanks to Bernardo Silva’s clinical finish. Silva doubled Man City’s advantage just 14 minutes later with a great finish. The home team went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Manuel Akanji put daylight between the two sides when he scored in the 76th minute before Julian Alvarez got his name on the scoresheet in injury time. The contest ended with Man City earning a dominant 4-0 win at home.
