Manchester United will entertain Fulham at Old Trafford this Sunday as they look to end this Premier League campaign on a high by picking up a win at home. The Red Devils are expected to line up with a strong team for this game.
Erik ten Hag will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and could ask his men to dominate possession and engineer enough chances to win this clash. We can expect Anthony Martial to lead the charge for the Mancunian side in the final third.
4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup To Face Fulham
Defence
David de Gea will operate in goal for the Red Devils as he looks to keep a clean sheet at the Theatre of Dreams. Victor Lindelof will partner up with Raphael Varane at the centre of Man United’s backline as they try to keep the opposition attackers quiet throughout the 90 minutes.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be a nailed-on starter at right-back while Luke Shaw looks to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and join in on the attack at every opportunity they get.
Harry Maguire will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Christian Eriksen will anchor the midfield with Casemiro as they focus on making life tough for Fulham at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Antony will operate just ahead of them as part of ten Hag’s attack. Fernandes will once again carry most of the creative workload for the Red Devils in the opponent’s half.
Scott McTominay and Fred will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Anthony Martial will spearhead Man United’s attack on his own up top. The French striker has to find a way to threaten the Fulham goal if Man United want to come out on top this weekend.
Wout Weghorst will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter of the contest if the home team are in need of a goal by then.
