Tottenham Hotspur entertained Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they looked to collect all three points at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the eighth-minute courtesy of Harry Kane’s excellent strike. The North London club managed to get to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Bryan Mbemo scored a quick-fire brace soon after the re-start which turned the game on its head for Brentford. Yoane Wissa ended up killing the game off for the Bees in the 88th minute with a tidy finish from close range. The contest finished with Tottenham suffering a poor 3-1 loss in North London.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player fared during the match against the Bees.

GK: Fraser Forster – 5/10

He made just one good save in the game and won’t be pleased about conceding three goals in the second half.

RB: Emerson Royal – 6.5/10

Emerson did his fair share of defending and was a threat going forward.

CB: Davinson Sanchez – 6.5/10

He got stuck in with a few crunching tackles and managed to make a few important clearances at the back.

CB: Clement Lenglet – 6.5/10

Lenglet didn’t hesitate to put his foot through the ball when required but his efforts were not enough in the end.

CM: Yves Bissouma – 6/10

Bissouma had a couple of bright moments in the game but offered very little in the final third.

CM: Oliver Skipp – 5/10

The English talent made one crucial interception at the centre of the park but was also guilty of making a poor error at the back which cost his team a goal.

LM: Heung-min Son – 7/10

Son caused plenty of problems for the Brentford defenders but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

ST: Dejan Kulusevski – 7/10

He was a constant menace in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

ST: Harry Kane – 7/10

Kane was a real threat inside the opponent’s penalty box and scored a great goal early in the game.

RAM: Lucas Moura – 6/10

The Brazilian sensation made one decent chance in the opposition half.

RM: Pedro Porro – 6.5/10
