Liverpool locked horns with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to collect all three points on the road. The Reds made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 33rd minute when Curtis Jones found the back of the net with a great finish. Jones doubled his team’s advantage just three minutes later with another excellent strike. The Merseyside club went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Jurgen Klopp‘s men dominated the game in the second half and managed to kill the game off thanks to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s sublime strike from long range in the 71st minute. The contest ended with Liverpool earning a comfortable 3-0 win at the King Power.

Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the clash against the Foxes.

GK: Alisson Becker – 7.5/10

The Brazilian keeper made a few decent saves at the back and earned a well-deserved clean sheet on the road.

CB: Ibrahima Konate – 7/10

Konate dealt with the danger when needed and was a dominant presence in the air.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7/10

The Dutch talent won his fair share of aerial duels and was tidy with his passing.

CB: Andrew Robertson – 7/10

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and had a couple of lively moments in the Leicester half.

CM: Jordan Henderson – 7.5/10

He was full of energy and running at the centre of the park and was inventive with his ball distribution as well.

CM: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 8.5/10

The English talent earned the ball back once and was a constant menace in the final third. He got his name on the scoresheet with a stunning strike in the 71st minute.

CM: Fabinho – 7.5/10

The Brazilian midfield ace read the danger well and was not shy of making a tackle.

CM: Curtis Jones – 9/10

Jones scored a brace in the first half with two outstanding finishes. He deserves to be named the man of the match.

RW: Mohamed Salah – 8/10

Salah set up all three of Liverpool’s goals tonight. However, he will be disappointed after missing a sitter in the second half.

ST: Cody Gakpo – 8/10

He was excellent with his link-up play in the opponent’s half but failed to register a goal.

LW: Luis Diaz – 7/10

Diaz had a few bright moments in the game but was lackluster in front of the opponent’s goal.

He made two dangerous runs with the ball.

CM: James Milner – 6/10

Milner added some energy to Klopp’s midfield.
