Real Madrid will face off against Osasuna at the Estadio de La Cartuja as they look to secure a victory in the Copa del Rey final. Los Blancos suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss away at Real Sociedad recently, so they will be eager to bounce back with a win this weekend.

Carlo Ancelotti will once again set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong starting XI for this cup final. Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior will both get a chance to play from the start while Mariano Diaz and Marco Asensio drop to the bench.

Defence

Thibaut Courtois will function in goal for Los Blancos after shipping in a couple of goals in his last league outing. Eder Militao will operate alongside Antonio Rudiger at the centre of Real Madrid’s backline as they hope to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.

Dani Carvajal will get a chance to impress as the right-back while Eduardo Camavinga fills in on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will be instructed to make some adventurous runs out on the flanks.

Nacho will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde will make up Real Madrid’s midfield as they focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if Los Blancos are to create enough chances to win this cup final.

Dani Ceballos will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Vinicius Jr. will get an opportunity to make a difference for Real Madrid on the right flank. Rodrygo will hope to give a good account of himself as the right-sided wide player.

Karim Benzema is expected lead the line for the Madrid giants in the final third. The Frenchman has to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for Ancelotti’s side up top.

Mariano Diaz and Marco Asensio will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to catch the eye in the final quarter of the game if the Madrid outfit are in need of a goal by then.
