Arsenal are set to welcome Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium this Tuesday night as both teams look to go all out in search of the win in the London derby. The Gunners suffered a poor 4-1 loss away at Manchester City recently. Similarly, the Blues suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss versus Brentford. Hence, we can expect both clubs to be eager to bounce back by securing a win in midweek.

Arsenal Vs Chelsea: Talking Tactics

Mikel Arteta will opt for a 4-3-3 formation once again and is expected to instruct his men to dominate the ball and engineer enough chances to win this contest at home.

Frank Lampard will set his side up in a 3-5-2 formation and might ask his players to defend their penalty box well and try to catch Arsenal off-guard on the counter.

Team News

Arsenal

Takehiro Tomiyasu, Mohamed Elneny and William Saliba will be sidelined for this game. Otherwise, Arteta has no fresh injury concerns ahead of this London derby.

Mason Mount, Reece James, Marc Cucurella, Armando Broja and Kalidou Koulibaly are all set to miss this clash for the Blues because of injuries.

Chelsea Predicted XI

Kepa; Chalobah, Silva, Fofana, Chilwell; Fernandez, Kante, Gallagher; Felix, Havertz, Sterling

Key Men

Arsenal

Both Rob Holding and Gabriel need to find a way to keep things solid at the back after the Gunners allowed four goals versus Man City last month.

Martin Odegaard will have to carry most of the creative burden for Arsenal in the final third. Bukayo Saka will be expected to make a difference for Arteta’s team on the right flank.

Chelsea

Both N’Golo Kante and Enzo Fernandez need to be at their best if Chelsea are to stand any chance of securing a result at the Emirates this week.

Joao Felix and Kai Havertz will be Lampard’s best hope for a goal in midweek.
