Arsenal entertained Southampton at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure maximum points at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the first minute when Carlos Alcaraz found the back of the net. Theo Walcott doubled Southampton’s advantage in the 14th minute before Gabriel Martinelli got a goal back for Arsenal just six minutes later. The North London club went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.

Dule Caleta-Car put the visitors 3-1 up when he scored with a solid header in the 66th minute. However, Mikel Arteta‘s men pulled off a late comeback thanks to a goal each from Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka. The contest ended with the Gunners earning a hard-fought 3-3 draw in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player fared during the match against the Saints.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale – 6/10

The English keeper made some important saves at the back but still ended up conceding three goals tonight.

RB: Ben White – 6.5/10

White had a few bright moments in the game and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CB: Rob Holding – 6.5/10

He failed to keep things solid at the back and was a strong presence in the air.

CB: Gabriel – 6.5/10

The Brazilian talent did his fair share of defending and made one good chance going forward.
