Barcelona entertained Real Betis at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win in La Liga. The Catalan giants settled into the game well and got themselves ahead in the 14th minute thanks to Andreas Christensen’s effort. Robert Lewandowski doubled Barca’s lead in the 36th minute before Raphinha put daylight between the two sides when he scored as well just three minutes later. Xavi’s men went into the half-time break 3-0 up on the scoreline.

Guido Rodriguez scored an unfortunate own goal for the visitors in the 82nd minute as Barca cruised to a comfortable 4-0 win at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player performed during the match against Real Betis.

GK: Marc-André ter Stegen – 7/10

The German keeper had to make just one save in the game and secured an easy clean sheet in front of the Barcelona fans.

RB: Jules Kounde – 8/10

He did his fair share of defending and managed to engineer some decent openings in the opponent’s half. Kounde has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CB: Ronald Araujo – 7/10

Araujo dealt with the danger when needed and did enough to secure a shutout tonight.

CB: Andreas Christensen – 7.5/10

He didn’t do much wrong on the defensive end of the pitch and scored Barca’s opener in the 14th minute.

LB: Alejandro Balde – 7/10

Balde did what was required of him at the back and made two encouraging runs with the ball.

CM: Pedri – 7/10

The Spaniard was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

CM: Sergio Busquets – 8/10

Busquets got stuck in with some solid tackles and made two decent chances going forward.

CM: Frenkie de Jong – 6.5/10

He was accurate with his passing but lacked quality in the opponent’s half.

RW: Raphinha – 9/10

Raphinha was a constant menace in the final third and had got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.

ST: Robert Lewandowski – 8.5/10

He caused all sorts of chaos inside the Real Betis penalty area and managed to find the back of the net in the 36th minute.

LW: Gavi – 7/10

Gavi passed the ball well at times but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

LW: Ansu Fati – 6/10

Fati offered very little after coming on as a substitute.

CB: Marcos Alonso – 6/10

He kept things solid at the back.

CM: Franck Kessie – 6.5/10

Kessie added some energy to Xavi’s midfield.

LW: Ousmane Dembele – 6/10

He made one key chance going forward.

CB: Lamine Yamal – N/A

Yamal didn’t get enough time to make an impact.
