Barcelona locked horns with Getafe at the Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Pérez earlier today as they hoped to earn a victory on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Xavi’s men failed to make a decisive breakthrough in the second half and had to settle for a scoreless draw away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player fared during the match against Getafe.

GK: Marc-André ter Stegen – 7/10

The German keeper had to make just one save in the game and earned an easy clean sheet today.

RB: Sergi Roberto – 6/10

The Spaniard made a solid start to the game and was substituted in the 17th minute.

CB: Ronald Araujo – 7/10

Araujo did his fair share of defending inside his half and was good on the ball.

CB: Jules Kounde – 6.5/10

The French talent made some important clearances on the defensive third of the field and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.

LB: Jordi Alba – 6.5/10

He was hardly tested defensively and engineered a couple of inviting chances in the final third.

CM: Franck Kessie – 7/10

Kessie had a few lively moments at both ends of the field.

CM: Sergio Busquets – 7/10

He anchored the midfield well and orchestrated a few promising chances going forward.

CM: Gavi – 6/10

Gavi struggled to get a foothold in the game and did well to last the whole 90 minutes.

RW: Raphinha – 7.5/10

Raphinha was a constant menace in the final third and was unfortunate to hit the post.

ST: Robert Lewandowski – 6.5/10

He had a few shot attempts but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.

LW: Alejandro Balde – 7/10

Balde caused a few headaches for his marker but struggled to finish off his chances.

Substitutes:

CB: Eric Garcia – 6.5/10

He kept things solid at the back.

LW: Ansu Fati – 6/10

Fati’s impact on the game was minimal.

RW: Ferran Torres – 6/10

He never looked like he would score.

CAM: Pablo Torre – N/A

Torre came on for the final few minutes of the contest.
