Manchester City and Bayern Munich will resume their battle at the Allianz Arena as both teams look to advance into the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. The Sky Blues took the lead in the first leg as they thrashed the Bavarians 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium last week, hence the German giants will be looking for a comeback in this subsequent encounter.

Manchester City Vs Borussia Dortmund: Talking Tactics

Pep Guardiola could set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a few changes for this European contest. Hence, we can expect Bernardo Silva to play from the start while Guardiola names a back three, including Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake, at the heart of City’s defence.

Thomas Tuchel could opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this contest. Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala, and Kingsley Coman could all feature in the attacking third, while Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting leads the charge against the opposition.
