Tottenham Hotspur locked horns with Everton at Goodison Park earlier tonight as they focused on securing a victory on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.
Abdoulaye Doucoure received a red card from the referee in the 58th minute. The visitors made their numerical advantage count and netted the opening goal just ten minutes later thanks to Harry Kane’s successful penalty.
However, Lucas Moura was given his marching orders as well in the 88th minute. The Merseyside club scored a dramatic equaliser just two minutes later when Michael Keane scored with a great effort. The match finished with Tottenham being held to a lackluster 1-1 draw away from home.

He was far from convincing defensively but was a positive influence going forward.
CM: Oliver Skipp – 6/10
Skipp was accurate with his passing but struggled to get into the rhythm of the game.
CM: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – 7/10
He earned the ball back a few times and had a couple of lively moments in the final third.
LM: Ivan Perisic – 7/10
Perisic gave a good account of himself defensively and was a threat in the opponent’s half.
RAM: Dejan Kulusevski – 7/10
He was solid at the back and made a handful of dangerous runs with the ball.
LAM: Heung-min Son – 6/10
Son engineered one decent chance in the final third but failed to register a goal tonight.
ST: Harry Kane – 7/10
The England international was a constant menace in front of the Everton goal and did well to get his name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot.
