West Ham United will clash heads with Fulham at Craven Cottage this Saturday afternoon as they look to earn a win on the road in the Premier League. The Hammers suffered a poor 5-1 loss at the hands of Newcastle United which has drained their confidence ahead of this game.

David Moyes will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a couple of changes to his first XI for this game. Danny Ings and Vladimir Coufal will get an opportunity to catch the eye from the start of this contest away at Fulham.

Defence

Lukasz Fabianski will feature in goal for West Ham United after shipping in five goals in his last league appearance. Nayef Aguerd will function alongside Kurt Zouma at the centre of Moyes’ defence as they look to keep the Fulham attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.

Vladimir Coufal will play as the right-back while Emerson Palmieri hopes to give a good account of himself on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would be eager to put in a good performance out on the wide areas by keeping things solid at the back.

Aaron Cresswell will be named on the bench as he provides cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Tomas Soucek, Declan Rice and Lucas Paqueta will make up Moyes’ midfield as they try to dictate the tempo of the game and engineer some inviting chances in the final third.

Lucas Paqueta will have to carry most of the creative burden for West Ham in the opponent’s half. Flynn Downes will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if needed.

Attack

Said Benrahma will play as the left-sided wide player while Jarrod Bowen hopes to catch the eye as the right-sided winger. Both of them need to stretch the pitch out on the flanks so that they can get in behind the Fulham backline and cause problems for them inside the penalty box.

Danny Ings will lead the line for the East London club in the final third. He has to find a way to be a nuisance inside the opposition penalty area this weekend.
