Everton will take on Fulham as they welcome them to Goodison Park on Saturday, hoping to grab all three points, which could be crucial for their survival. The Toffees suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United last weekend, so they will have to pick themselves up and perform better in order to survive relegation.
Sean Dyche will probably opt for a 4-5-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to the starting XI. Demarai Gray should lead the line on his own up top while Jordan Pickford operates in goal for this weekend’s encounter.
4-5-1 Everton Predicted XI Vs Fulham
Defence
Pickford will continue to feature between the sticks for Everton, hoping to keep a clean sheet after conceding two goals versus United in his last league outing. James Tarkowski will form the centre-half partnership with Michael Keane at the heart of Everton’s backline as they focus on keeping things tidy at the back throughout the game.
Seamus Coleman will try to put in a tireless display at the right-back position while Ben Godfrey fills in as the left-back. Both of them will have to defend their penalty box well to stop the opposition attackers from creating too many chances inside their halves.
Mason Holgate will be available for selection on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Amadou Onana, Idrissa Gueye and James Garner will anchor the midfield as they look to dominate possession in the central areas. All three of them will need to protect their backline from the opposition attackers.
Dwight McNeil will keep his place on the left flank while Alex Iwobi looks to catch the eye as the right-sided wide player.
Tom Davies will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Attack
Demarai Gray will spearhead Dyche’s attack on his own up top. He will have to find a way to cause a few headaches for the United defenders in the final third.
Ellis Simms should take a spot on the bench, waiting for his chance to shine in the second half.
