In a recent report, Tutto Juve revealed that Arsenal are ready to move in for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot. It has been claimed that the Gunners are preparing to rival Tottenham Hotspur in the race to land the France international this summer.

Rabiot’s Impressive Form In Serie A This Season

Rabiot is having a solid campaign at the Turin club as he has put in a series of impressive displays at the centre of their midfield. The 28-year-old has been involved in 35 matches for the Italian outfit this season, netting ten goals and securing four assists across all fronts.

The French sensation has given a good account of himself by averaging 1.8 tackles, 0.9 interceptions, 1.2 clearances, 1.3 shots, 1.0 key passes and 0.9 dribbles per game in Serie A football. He has even been tidy with his ball distribution after completing 82.7% of his attempted passes in top-flight football (stats via whoscored).

Rabiot is under contract at Juventus until the end of this campaign. Therefore, Arsenal could land him on a free transfer in the summer.

Is Rabiot A Good Choice For Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta?

Rabiot is a good tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his team at the centre of the park. He usually clears the danger when needed and can shoot the ball with venom from long range.

The French talent has got the eye to play a decisive pass in the final third and can make a few energetic runs with the ball in the opponent’s half.

We can expect Rabiot to add more quality to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta‘s midfield. He is good enough to offer some healthy competition for Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey at the Emirates Stadium in the coming seasons.

At 28, Rabiot is currently playing in his prime and has what it takes to make an instant impact at the North London club if he can make a smooth transition to life in English football. With all things considered, the Juventus midfield ace would be a good choice for the Gunners to pursue in the summer when he will be available as a free agent.
