West Ham United clashed heads with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result on the road. The Hammers made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the ninth-minute courtesy of Tomas Soucek’s goal.
However, Jordan Ayew equalised for the home side just six minutes later before Wilfried Zaha gave them the lead in the 20th minute. Jeffrey Schlupp made it 3-1 to Crystal Palace at the half-hour mark. However, Michail Antonio got a goal back for West Ham soon after as they went into the half-time break 3-2 down on the scoreline.
Eberechi Eze made it 4-2 for the Eagles from the penalty spot in the 66th minute. However, David Moyes’ men made things interesting as Nayef Aguerd got his name on the scoresheet just six minutes later. The match ended with the Hammers crashing to a hard-fought 4-3 loss in the London derby.
Let’s take a look at how each West Ham United player fared during the match against the Eagles.
