Everton will lock horns with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium this Monday night as they look to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Toffees suffered a horror 4-1 loss at home to Newcastle United recently which has drained their confidence considerably ahead of this game.

Sean Dyche will set his side up in a 4-5-1 formation and could be inclined to make one tweak to his first XI for this game. Seamus Coleman could get a chance to play from the start while Ben Godfrey makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Jordan Pickford will feature in between the sticks for the Toffees after shipping in four goals in his last league start. Michael Keane will continue to play alongside James Tarkowski at the centre of the Everton backline as they try to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

As mentioned earlier, Seamus Coleman could be back for this game and is expected to play as the right-back while Vitaliy Mykolenko fills in on the other flank as the left-back.

Ben Godfrey will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Abdoulaye Doucoure, Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gueye will function as the holding midfielders for Everton as they focus on making life tough for the Leicester players at the centre of the park.

Dwight McNeil will get another shot to impress as the left-sided wide player while Alex Iwobi looks to give a good account of himself on the right flank. Both of them would be eager to make a difference for the Toffees in the final third.

Tom Davies and Demarai Gray will be named on the bench as they wait for their opportunity to prove themselves in the second half if needed.

Attack

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the charge for the Merseyside club up top. The English forward needs to find a way to threaten the Leicester goal if Everton are to secure a good result at the King Power this Monday night.

Neal Maupay has to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on in the latter stages if Dyche decides to opt for his services.
