Manchester United faced off against Real Betis in the UEFA Europa League earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result on the road. The Red Devils made a solid start to the contest but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Marcus Rashford finally broke the deadlock in the 55th minute as Man United secured a narrow 1-0 win on the night and a 5-1 win on aggregate which ensured their place in the next stages of the Europa League.

Maguire cleared the danger when needed and was a strong presence in the air. He will be quite pleased with the clean sheet.

He got stuck in with a couple of solid tackles and made a few decent runs with the ball.
CM: Bruno Fernandes – 7.5/10
Fernandes came back to defend when required and made some decent chances for his teammates to find the back of the net.
CM: Casemiro – 8/10
The Brazilian talent anchored the midfield with a lot of conviction and was lively on the ball as well. He picked up an assist for setting up Rashford’s goal.
RW: Facundo Pellistri – 7/10
He made a few driving runs with the ball but failed to register a goal.
CAM: Fred – 7/10
Fred worked hard at both ends of the field but lacked quality in the final third.
LW: Marcus Rashford – 8/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and scored the only goal of the European contest in the 55th minute.
ST: Wout Weghorst – 7/10
Weghorst led the line well at times for Manchester United but never looked like he would score.
