Arsenal welcomed Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a horror start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the first minute when Philip Billing scored for the visitors. Mikel Arteta’s men struggled to come up with a response in the first half and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Marcos Senesi doubled Bournemouth’s advantage in the 57th minute. However, the home team got a goal back via Thomas Partey’s effort just five minutes later. Ben White equalised for Arsenal in the 70th minute before Reiss Nelson ended up netting a dramatic injury-time winner to seal all three points for his team. The contest ended with the North London giants earning a brilliant 3-2 win which consolidated their place at the top of the Premier League table.
