Chelsea welcomed Leeds United at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result in front of their home supporters in the Premier League. The Blues made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.

Wesley Fofana opened the goal-scoring for the home side in the 53rd minute as Chelsea ended up securing an impressive 1-0 win at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the match against the Whites.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – 7/10

The Spanish keeper made a couple of solid saves at the back and earned an easy clean sheet at home.

CB: Wesley Fofana – 8/10

Fofana scored the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute and didn’t do much wrong at the back.

CB: Kalidou Koulibaly – 7.5/10

He dealt with the danger when required and produced a solid display on the defensive end of the field.

CB: Benoit Badiashile – 7/10

Badiashile earned possession back twice and did enough to keep the Leeds attackers frustrated during the 90 minutes.

RM: Ruben Loftus-Cheek – 7/10

The English talent came back to defend when needed and made two good runs with the ball.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 7/10

He anchored the midfield well and was not shy of having a strike at goal.

CM: Mateo Kovacic – 7/10

Kovacic got stuck in with a lot of crunching tackles to make life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park.

LM: Ben Chilwell – 7.5/10

He made a positive impact at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

RW: Raheem Sterling – 7.5/10

Sterling was a constant menace in the final third but failed to get his name on the scoresheet once again.

ST: Kai Havertz – 7/10

Havertz caused a few headaches for the opposition defenders but never looked like he would score.

LW: Joao Felix – 7/10

The Portuguese attacker was unfortunate to hit the post but was a threat on the left flank.

He kept things solid at the back.
