Salah Gets A Perfect 10 | Liverpool Players Rated In Historic Win Vs Manchester United

Liverpool entertained Manchester United at Anfield earlier this evening as they focused on securing a positive result in front of their home fans. The Reds made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 43rd minute when Cody Gakpo scored with a brilliant finish. The Merseyside club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Darwin Nunez doubled Liverpool’s advantage in the 47th minute before Gakpo made it 3-0 just three minutes later. Mohamed Salah got in on the goal-scoring act as well in the 66th minute before Nunez completed his brace in the 75th minute. Salah scored again late in the game before Roberto Firmino got his name on the scoresheet in the 88th minute with a good finish. The contest ended with Liverpool securing a historic 7-0 win over the Red Devils.

GK: Alisson Becker – 7.5/10

The Brazilian keeper made a few crucial saves at the back and earned a solid clean sheet at home.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 8/10

He performed his defensive duties well and managed to engineer two inviting chances in the final third.

CB: Ibrahima Konate – 7/10

The French defender didn’t do much wrong at the back and earned an important clean sheet this evening.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7/10

Van Dijk cleared the danger when needed and was accurate with his passing.


LB: Andrew Robertson – 8.5/10

Robertson got stuck in with some crunching tackles and managed to create some decent plays for his teammates from the left flank. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Jordan Henderson – 8/10

The Liverpool captain was back to his best today as he ran the show well for his team from midfield. Henderson ended the game with an assist to his name.

CM: Fabinho – 7/10

Fabinho earned the ball back twice and made one decent chance in the Man United half.

CM: Harvey Elliott – 8.5/10

Elliott caused all sorts of problems for the opposition with his link-up play in the final third.

RW: Mohamed Salah – 10/10

The Egypt international was simply unstoppable today as he caused all sorts of chaos for the Man United defenders. He scored a brace and has also got two assists to his name.

ST: Cody Gakpo – 9/10

Gakpo scored two great goals during the game and gave his teammates the platform to go and secure such a historic win.

LW: Darwin Nunez – 8.5/10

He had a quiet first half but was unplayable in the second. He scored two fine goals in what proved to be a memorable day at Anfield.


LW: Diogo Jota – 6/10

Jota had a couple of lively moments in the game.

CM: Stefan Bajcetic – 6.5/10

Bajcetic controlled the flow of the game well in the middle of the park.

ST: Roberto Firmino – 7/10

He scored a good goal after coming off the bench.

CM: James Milner – 6/10

Milner added some energy to Klopp’s midfield.

CM: Curtis Jones – N/A

He hardly had any time to influence the game.
