Everton faced off against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Toffees made a solid start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 40th minute when Bukayo Saka scored with a great strike. Gabriel Martinelli doubled Arsenal’s advantage in the first half injury-time as Everton went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Martin Odegaard killed the game off when he scored in the 71st minute before Martinelli scored again just nine minutes later. Sean Dyche’s men ended up suffering a poor 4-0 loss away from home.

GK: Jordan Pickford – 5/10
The English keeper made one good save in the game but conceded four goals tonight.
RB: Seamus Coleman – 6/10
He made a couple of crucial defensive contributions but gave away the ball cheaply at times. Coleman was replaced in the 60th minute.
CB: Michael Keane – 5.5/10
Keane looked vulnerable on the defensive end of the pitch but made one good run with the ball.
CB: James Tarkowski – 6/10
He made a lot of important clearances at the back and even pulled off a few decisive blocks as well. However, his efforts were not enough in the end.
LB: Vitaliy Mykolenko – 6/10
He didn’t do much wrong at the back and made one good run with the ball.
RM: Alex Iwobi – 6/10
Iwobi made two promising runs with the ball and was quiet in the final third.
CM: Amadou Onana – 6/10
He showed some flashes of what he is capable of but produced an uninspiring display at the centre of the park.
CM: Idrissa Gueye – 5/10
Gueye produced an underwhelming display in the first half and was substituted at half-time.
CM: Abdoulaye Doucoure – 6/10
He made a couple of decent chances in the final third but offered little protection for his teammates at the back.
LM: Dwight McNeil – 7.5/10
McNeil was a constant menace on the left flank but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
ST: Neal Maupay – 6.5/10
He caused a few headaches for the Arsenal defenders but failed to take any of his chances.
