Manchester United entertained Southampton at Old Trafford earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a slow start to the game and found themselves at a numerical disadvantage as Casemiro was sent off in the 34th minute. However, Erik ten Hag’s men managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.

Both sides canceled each other out in the second 45 minutes as the match ended with Man United being held to a scoreless draw at the Theatre of Dreams.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the match against the Saints.

GK: David de Gea – 7.5/10

The Spanish keeper made a few decent saves at the back and did well to secure a clean sheet today.

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well and made one encouraging run going forward.

CB: Raphael Varane – 7/10

Varane dealt with the danger when required and was a threat at the other end of the field.

CB: Lisandro Martinez – 7/10

The Argentine sensation didn’t do much wrong at the back and was good on the ball.
