Manchester United locked horns with Liverpool at Anfield earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road. The Red Devils made a solid start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 43rd minute when Cody Gakpo scored with a clinical finish. The Mancunian club went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Man United produced a horror performance in the second half as they conceded two quick goals with Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo scoring for the home team respectively. Salah made it 4-0 for Liverpool in the 66th minute before Nunez scored again for the Merseyside club. Erik ten Hag’s men conceded two goals late in the game and crashed to a humiliating 7-0 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the match against the Reds.

The French defender struggled to cope with the pace of the Liverpool attackers and produced a disappointing display inside his half.

CB: Lisandro Martinez – 6/10

Martinez produced a battling display this evening but was not able to stop the opposition attackers from wreaking havoc.
