Chelsea entertained Borussia Dortmund at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League and overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg. The Blues made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 43rd minute thanks to Raheem Sterling’s goal. The West London club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Kai Havertz doubled Chelsea’s advantage from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute as the Blues earned an impressive 2-0 win at home. Graham Potter’s men secured a place in the quarterfinals of the Champions League after winning the tie 2-1 on aggregate.
