Real Madrid will face Mallorca as they travel to Iberostar stadium on Sunday looking to pick up all three points in their chase for the league title. Los Blancos will come into the match on the back of an impressive 2-0 victory over Valencia so we can expect them to produce a similar performance if Carlo Ancelotti can manage the injury crisis.
Ancelotti would probably opt for a 4-3-3 formation but will have to make necessary changes to the starting XI as Eder Militao joins the treatment room with David Alaba, Ferland Mendy and Lucas Vasquez. Moreover, Karim Benzema also remains doubtful due to a muscle problem that he picked up in the last outing.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted XI Vs Mallorca
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will continue to operate in between the sticks for Madrid looking to keep a clean sheet again in this weekend’s encounter. Nacho Fernandez will form a defensive partnership with Antonio Rudiger at the heart of Real Madrid’s backline as they look to keep things solid at the back throughout the game.
Dani Carvajal will operate as the right-back while Eduardo Camavinga gives a good account of himself on the other flank. Both of them could get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Alvaro Odriozola will be available as he offers cover for the defensive positions from the bench.
Midfield
The talented trio of Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Luka Modric will anchor the midfield for Real Madrid as they focus on dominating the game at the centre of the park and engineering some clear-cut chances for their teammates to find the back of the net.
Dani Ceballos will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
Attack
Vinicius Junior will continue in the left wing while Federico Valverde tries to make a difference from the right flank. As mentioned earlier, Karim Benzema remains doubtful to start so Rodrygo could be given the chance to impress down the middle.
Rodrygo and Marco Asensio will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the latter stages of the game if Carlo Ancelotti opts to call upon their services.
