Vinicius Jr. Gets 8.5, Asensio With 8 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Impressive Victory Vs Valencia

Real Madrid entertained Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a victory in front of their home fans. Los Blancos made a bright start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Marco Asensio finally opened the goal-scoring for the Madrid giants in the 52nd minute before Vinicius Junior doubled Los Blancos’ advantage just two minutes later. The contest ended with Carlo Ancelotti’s men earning an impressive 2-0 win at home in La Liga.

GK: Thibaut Courtois –  6.5/10

The Belgian keeper didn’t have a save to make in the game and earned an easy clean sheet at home.

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and made one good run with the ball.

Militao made one important clearance at the back and was accurate with his passing. He went off injured in the 35th minute.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 7/10

The German defender made a couple of crucial clearances at the back and did enough to secure the clean sheet tonight.

LB: Eduardo Camavinga – 8/10

He performed his defensive duties well and was a real threat in the Valencia half as well.

CM: Luka Modric – 7.5/10

Modric anchored the midfield well and engineered a couple of decent chances in the final third.

CM: Toni Kroos – 7/10

He had a couple of lively moments in the game and was a good presence on the ball.

CM: Dani Ceballos – 8/10

The Spaniard did his fair share of defending and made some decent runs with the ball during the game.

RW: Marco Asensio – 8/10

Asensio opened the goal-scoring for Los Blancos in the 52nd minute and caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders.

ST: Karim Benzema – 7.5/10

He linked up play well with others around him and has got a couple of assists to show for his efforts.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 8.5/10

Vinicius Jr. caused all sorts of problems for the Valencia defenders and got his name on the scoresheet in the 54th minute.

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch.

RW: Rodrygo – 6.5/10

Rodrygo made a few decent runs with the ball.
