Tottenham Hotspur will clash heads with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane this Wednesday night as they try to secure a victory in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Spurs managed to earn an impressive 2-0 win over Chelsea in the London derby recently which will give them a lot of momentum going into this cup clash away from home.
Antonio Conte will stick with his favoured 3-4-2-1 formation and could make a few changes to his first team for this clash. Pedro Porro and Heung-min Son will get a chance to impress from the start while Emerson Royal and Richarlison make way for them and drop to the bench.
3-4-2-1 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Sheffield United
Defence
Fraser Forster will once again get a chance to impress in goal for Spurs after securing a clean sheet in his last outing. Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier and Cristian Romero will make up Conte’s back three as they try to keep things solid on the defensive end of the pitch throughout the 90 minutes.
Clement Lenglet could get a rest on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Oliver Skipp and Pape Sarr will anchor the midfield for the North London club as they try to dominate the game at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances for their teammates to win this cup clash on the road.
Pedro Porro could get a chance to impress as the right-sided wide player while Ivan Perisic tries to give a good account of himself on the left flank. Both of them will be expected to make a few overlapping runs out on the wide areas in support of the front players.
Heung-min Son and Arnaut Danjuma will operate as the free-flowing, attacking midfielders for Spurs in the final third. Both of them would be hungry to get their names on the scoresheet versus the Blades in midweek.
Attack
Harry Kane will lead the line for the London giants in the final third. The English striker found the back of the net late in the game versus Chelsea, so his confidence will be quite high ahead of this FA Cup encounter at Bramall Lane.
Richarlison and Lucas Moura will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of this game if Conte decides to call upon their services.
