Tottenham Hotspur entertained Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a positive result at home. Spurs made a decent start to the game and were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Oliver Skipp finally scored the opening goal in the London derby in the 46th minute before Harry Kane put daylight between the two sides in the 82nd minute. The contest ended with Antonio Conte’s men earning an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

GK: Fraser Forster – 7/10

Forster made a couple of crucial saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet today.

CB: Cristian Romero – 8/10

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and made some decent runs with the ball as well.

CB: Eric Dier – 7.5/10

Dier made a lot of crucial clearances at the back and was good on the ball as well. He ended the game with an assist to his name.

CB: Clement Lenglet – 7/10

The French defender did what was required of him at the back and secured an impressive clean sheet at home.

RM: Emerson Royal – 8/10

The Brazilian wide player performed his defensive duties well and was a lively presence in the Chelsea half.

CM: Oliver Skipp – 8/10

Skipp anchored the midfield really well at times and deserves credit for scoring the opening goal just after the half-time break.

CM: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – 7/10

He protected his backline well and was tidy with his passing as well.

LM: Ben Davies – 7.5/10

Davies didn’t do much wrong on the defensive third of the pitch and had a couple of bright moments on the ball as well.

RAM: Dejan Kulusevski – 7/10

He made a few good runs with the ball and failed to threaten the Chelsea goal. Kulusevski got replaced in the 78th minute.

LAM: Richarlison – 7/10

Richarlison came back to defend when required and caused a few headaches for his marker as well. However, there was no goal for him today.

ST: Harry Kane – 8/10

Kane was a real menace at times in the final third and scored a good goal to kill the game off in the 82nd minute.

He made one key chance in the opponent’s half.

Porro came on for the final few minutes of the game.
