Liverpool locked horns with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a victory on the travels. The Reds made a nervy start to the game but managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Both teams fought tooth and nail in the second 45 minutes but failed to break each other down as the match finished scoreless with Liverpool only coming away with a point from South London.

Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the match against the Eagles.

GK: Alisson Becker – 6.5/10

The Brazilian keeper didn’t have a save to make in the game and secured an easy clean sheet on the road.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 6/10

He looked vulnerable at the back but had a lively game in the opponent’s half.

CB: Joel Matip – 6.5/10

Matip was poor on the ball in the first half. However, he recovered well and put in a solid display in the second.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7/10

He dealt with the danger when needed and secured an easy clean sheet at Selhurst Park.

LB: Andrew Robertson – 6/10

Robertson was far from convincing when defending inside his half and failed to create anything meaningful going forward.

CM: Naby Keita –  6/10

He was sloppy on the ball and engineered one good chance in the opponent’s half. However, he got replaced at half-time.

CM: Jordan Henderson – 6.5/10

Henderson tried his best to make things difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park. However, he lacked quality in the final third.

CM: James Milner – 6.5/10

He began the game as a central midfielder but was shifted to play as a right-back in the second half. Milner made one good chance going forward.

RW: Mohamed Salah – 7.5/10

Salah caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders and was unfortunate to hit the crossbar.

ST: Cody Gakpo – 6.5/10

He showed a few flashes of what he was capable of but failed to register a goal.

LW: Diogo Jota – 7/10

Jota engineered some decent chances in the final third and was a real threat from the left flank. However, there was no goal for him tonight.

CM: Harvey Elliott – 6.5/10

He added some creativity to Jurgen Klopp’s midfield.

CM: Fabinho – 6.5/10

Fabinho made one decent run with the ball.

ST: Roberto Firmino – 6/10

He had one bright moment in the game after coming off the bench.

CM: Stefan Bajcetic – N/A

Bajcetic hardly had any time to make an impact.
