Manchester United and Newcastle United lock horns to lay their hands on Domestic Silverware as they head into the finals of the Carabao Cup. The Red Devils come into the match on the back of an aggregate 4-3 victory over Barcelona to book their place in the round of 16 of the Europa League. On the other hand, the Magpies suffered a 2-0 defeat in their last outing against Liverpool.

Manchester United Vs Newcastle United: Talking Tactics

Erik ten Hag could opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to the starting XI. Antony could make his way back into the match-day squad after recovering and coming back to full fitness from his injury while Marcus Rashford leads the line on his own in the final third.

Eddie Howe should make use of the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this game. Bruno Guimaraes should make his way back into the starting XI after completing his suspension while Nick Pope remains sidelined having picked up a red card in his last outing.
