Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 15th-minute courtesy of Harry Kane’s great finish. The North London club sat on their narrow lead well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Antonio Conte’s men managed to defend their advantage well in the second 45 minutes despite going down to ten men after Cristian Romero was sent off by the referee in the 87th minute. The contest ended with Spurs earning an impressive 1-0 win over Man City in front of their home supporters.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player performed during the match against Man City.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 7.5/10

The French keeper made a lot of important saves at the back and earned a well-deserved clean sheet in North London.

CB: Cristian Romero – 6/10

He did his fair share of defending but let his teammates down by getting sent off in the 87th minute.

CB: Eric Dier – 7/10

Dier cleared the danger when needed and was a threat at the other end of the field as well.

CB: Ben Davies – 6.5/10

He made a few crucial clearances on the defensive end of the field and did enough to secure the clean sheet in the end.
