Manchester United locked horns with Leeds United at Elland Road earlier today as they looked to grind out a positive result on their travels in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a slow start to the game and were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Marcus Rashford finally opened the goal-scoring for Man United in the 80th minute with a solid header before Alejandro Garnacho got his name on the scoresheet just five minutes later. The contest ended with the Red Devils earning an impressive 2-0 win away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the match against the Whites.

GK: David de Gea – 8/10

The Spanish keeper gave away the ball cheaply at times and made multiple crucial saves for his team. He will be quite satisfied with the clean sheet tonight.

RB: Diogo Dalot – 7/10

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and was unfortunate to hit the post.

CB: Harry Maguire – 7.5/10

Maguire had some nervy moments but deserves credit for clearing the danger when needed.

CB: Luke Shaw – 8/10

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and was a threat at the other end as well. Shaw ended the game with an assist to his name.

CM: Fred – 7.5/10

The Brazilian talent offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and made one key chance in the final third.

RW: Jadon Sancho – 6/10

He had a couple of bright moments in the game but never looked like he would score.

CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 7.5/10

Fernandes was a constant menace in the final third but failed to find the back of the net today.

LW: Marcus Rashford – 7/10

Rashford caused a few headaches for the opposition defenders and did well to get his name on the scoresheet in the 80th minute.

ST: Wout Weghorst – 7/10

He worked hard and created some meaningful openings for others around him in the final third. Weghorst has got an assist to show for his efforts.

Substitutes:

CB: Lisandro Martinez – 6.5/10

The Argentine talent kept things solid at the back.

LW: Alejandro Garnacho – 7/10

Garnacho made an instant impact off the bench and scored in the 86th minute which killed the game off.

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6/10

He didn’t do much wrong when defending inside his half.

RW: Anthony Elanga – N/A

Elanga didn’t get enough time to influence the game.
