Leeds United will take on Nottingham Forest as they travel to City Ground on Sunday hoping to return to winning ways in the Premier League. The Whites will come into the match on the back of a splendid 3-1 victory over Accrington Stanley to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Jesse Marsch will probably use the same 4-1-3-2 formation as he’s been handed fresh injury concerns with Rodrigo Moreno going to the treatment room. Marsch could name a two-man strike team allowing Patrick Bamford and Georgino Rutter to lead the charge against the opposition.
4-1-3-2 Leeds United Predicted XI Vs Nottingham Forest
Defence
Illan Meslier will continue to feature in goal for the West Yorkshire club hoping to secure a clean sheet in this away encounter. Maximilian Wober will form the customary centre-half partnership with Robin Koch at the heart of Marsch’s defence as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the game.
Rasmus Kristensen will act as the right-back while Pascal Struijk keeps his place on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would be eager to get forward to stretch the opposition in the final third.
Midfield
Marc Roca will anchor the holding midfield position for Leeds United tasked with shielding the back four and finding a way to create some decent plays for their teammates in the opponent’s half.
Luis Sinisterra, Brandon Aaronson and Jack Harrison will form the attacking trio tasked with creating enough chances in the front of the goal and providing support to the frontmen.
Mateusz Klich and Tyler Adams will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if Marsch opts to call upon their services.
Attack
Patrick Bamford and Goergino Rutter will act as the focal point of the Yorkshire club’s attack. Both of them will have to find ways to pose a threat in front of the opponent’s goal.
Joe Gelhardt will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his opportunity to catch the eye as an impact substitute if required.
