Manchester United locked horns with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a positive result on their travels. The Red Devils made a promising start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 17th minute when Marcus Rashford found the back of the net with a brilliant strike. However, Arsenal equalised with the help of Eddie Nketiah’s goal in the 24th minute. The two teams went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.

Bukayo Saka gave his team the lead with a great strike in the 53rd minute before Lisandro Martinez equalised for the visitors with a courageous header. However, Eddie Nketiah scored again in the 90th minute as Erik ten Hag’s men crashed to a tough 3-2 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the match against the Gunners.

GK: David de Gea – 5.5/10

The Spanish keeper made a couple of solid saves at the back but conceded three goals during the 90 minutes.

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7/10

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the pitch and was a strong presence in the air.

CB: Raphael Varane – 6.5/10

The France international did his fair share of defending but failed to keep the opposition attackers quiet.

CB: Lisandro Martinez – 8/10

He earned the ball back a few times and was strong in the air. Martinez scored in the 59th minute with a brave header.
