Manchester City locked horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they looked to earn a win on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian club dominated the game in the first half but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Riyad Mahrez finally managed to break the deadlock in the 63rd minute when Riyad Mahrez found the back of the net. The contest finished with Man City securing a narrow 1-0 win away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player fared during the match against the Blues.

CB: John Stones – 7.5/10

He anchored the midfield with conviction and was accurate when distributing the ball from midfield.

Silva was a positive influence at both ends of the field but lacked quality in the final third.

The Portuguese talent made two good runs with the ball but got replaced in the 45th minute.

LAM: Kevin De Bruyne – 7.5/10

The Belgian talent caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders and was a constant menace in front of goal.

LM: Phil Foden – 6/10

Foden had one bright moment in the game but got substituted in the 59th minute.

ST: Erling Haaland – 6.5/10

Haaland caused some headaches for the Chelsea defenders but failed to register a goal.

He was a solid presence on the defensive third of the pitch.

He picked up an assist for setting up Mahrez’s goal.
