Manchester City entertained Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result at home. The Mancunian giants made a poor start to the game and conceded two quick-fire goals in the latter stages of the first half as Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal both got their names on the scoresheet. Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Julian Alvarez pulled a goal back for the home side in the 51st minute before Erling Haaland equalised for Man City just two minutes later. Riyad Mahrez went on to score a second-half brace as Guardiola’s side cruised to a 4-2 win in front of their home fans.
