Leeds United faced off against Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier tonight as they looked to secure a positive result on the road. The Whites made a poor start to the contest as they conceded the opening goal in the third minute when Leon Bailey found the back of the net. The Yorkshire club failed to mount a comeback and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Emiliano Buendia scored just after the hour mark to put Leeds in a world of trouble. The Whites got a goal back via Patrick Bamford’s effort in the 83rd minute. However, Jesse Marsch’s men ended up suffering a disappointing 2-1 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the match against the Villans.

GK: Illan Meslier – 6/10

Meslier made some solid saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet in both halves.

RB: Luke Ayling – 6.5/10

He was a strong presence in the air and managed to impress at times during the game.

CB: Robin Koch – 6.5/10

Koch earned the ball back a few times on the defensive end of the field and was good on the ball as well.

CB: Liam Cooper – 6.5/10

He won his fair share of aerial duels but was far from convincing at the back.
