Chelsea faced off against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to grind out a good result on the road. The Blues made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 23rd minute when Riyad Mahrez found the back of the net. Julian Alvarez doubled Man City’s advantage at the half-hour mark when he got his name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot. Foden added another goal in the 38th minute as Chelsea went into the half-time break 3-0 down on the scoreline.

The West London club struggled to find a way to cause Man City problems and conceded another goal in the 85th minute when Mahrez scored another goal. The match ended with Chelsea suffering a poor 4-0 defeat away from home.
