West Ham United entertained Everton at the London Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a positive result at home. The Hammers made a good start to the game and raced to a two-goal lead before the half-time break courtesy of a quick-fire brace from Jarrod Bowen.
The East London club defended their lead well in the second 45 minutes and earned an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

Fabianski made a couple of solid saves at the back and secured a well-deserved clean sheet at home.

Ogbonna made numerous important clearances inside his half and would be pleased with the clean sheet today.

Coufal did his fair share of defending but offered very little going forward.

The Brazilian talent anchored the midfield well and made one good run with the ball.

The English sensation was a positive influence at both ends of the field and won his fair share of aerial duels as well.
LM: Emerson Palmieri – 7/10
He didn’t do much wrong at the back and made two good chances in the final third.
RAM: Jarrod Bowen – 8/10
Bowen was a constant menace in the final third and has got two goals to show for his efforts.
LAM: Said Benrahma – 7/10
He was a threat at times in the Everton half but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
ST: Michail Antonio – 7.5/10
The English talent had a few lively moments in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
