The 2022 FIFA World Cup came to a close in Qatar recently with Argentina ending up winning the competition after beating France on penalties in the final which took place at the Lusail Iconic Stadium recently. This World Cup competition saw a handful of Nike brand ambassadors participating in the Middle East which includes some well-known names such as Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne and Marcus Rashford.

Who Are The Top Players Sponsored By Nike In The 2022 FIFA World Cup?

Nike was responsible for producing 13 kits in the 2022 FIFA World Cup which was six more than their top competitor, Adidas. Nike designed the jerseys of England, France and Brazil, and had 441 players showcasing their Nike boots during the tournament.

Kylian Mbappe

The French talent was signed by Nike when he was just 14. Mbappe made his brand proud by bagging a hat trick for France in the World Cup final despite losing to Argentina on penalties.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo has been representing Nike since joining Manchester United for the first time back in 2003. He has penned a lifetime contract with the American sports brand but struggled to impress for Portugal in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Kevin De Bruyne

De Bruyne is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in world football at the moment. He penned a seven-year deal with Nike but failed to help Belgium qualify from the group stages of this World Cup.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford has been with Nike since he was just 11. Back in 2021, he decided to extend his contract with the Sports brand and managed to catch the eye for England during the World Cup.
