Tottenham Hotspur faced off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier this afternoon as they look to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a lackluster start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 15th minute when Vitaly Janelt found the back of the net for the home side. The North London club failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Ivan Toney made it 2-0 to Brentford in the 54th minute. However, Tottenham found a way back into the game just 11 minutes later when Harry Kane scored with a good header. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg equalised for Spurs in the 71st minute as Tottenham ended up securing a hard-fought 2-2 draw away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham player fared during the match against the Bees.

GK: Fraser Forster – 6.5/10

He made a few solid saves during the game but won’t be happy after conceding two goals today.

CB: Japhet Tanganga – 6/10

Tanganga made some crucial clearances at the back but couldn’t keep the opposition attackers quiet.

CB: Eric Dier – 6.5/10

The English centre-back tried to keep things solid when defending inside his half. He won multiple 50-50 duels in the air.

CB: Clement Lenglet – 7.5/10

Lenglet gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch and engineered a couple of decent chances in the final third.

CM: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg – 8/10

He offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was a constant menace in the final third. Hojbjerg scored Tottenham’s equaliser with a calm finish.

LM: Ivan Perisic – 7/10

Perisic got stuck in with some solid tackles and had two lively moments in the final third.

RW: Dejan Kulusevski – 7/10

He made a few decent runs with the ball but failed to register a goal today.

ST: Harry Kane – 7.5/10

Kane was a real threat inside the opponent’s penalty box and got his name on the scoresheet with a good header in the 65th minute.

LW: Heung-min Son – 6.5/10

Son showed a few flashes of what he is capable of but struggled to finish off his chances.

CB: Davinson Sanchez – 6/10

He added more bite and steel to Antonio Conte’s midfield.

CB: Ben Davies – N/A

Davies hardly had any time to influence the game.
