Leeds United entertained Manchester City at Elland Road earlier tonight as they looked to grind out a result at home in the Premier League. The Whites made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the first half injury-time when Rodri scored with a simple finish. Leeds went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Erling Haaland scored a quick brace in the second 45 minutes which put the Yorkshire giants all but out of the contest. Pascal Struijk got some pride back for Leeds when he scored in the 73rd minute. However, Jesse Marsch’s side ended up suffering a poor 3-1 loss in front of their home fans.
