Chelsea entertained Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge earlier this evening as they hoped to earn maximum points at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 16th minute courtesy of Kai Havertz’s goal. Mason Mount doubled Chelsea’s advantage just eight minutes later with a good strike. Graham Potter’s men went into the half-time break with a 2-0 lead.
The home team did enough in the second half and managed to secure a 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

Zakaria anchored the midfield well at times but offered very little in the opponent’s half.

He earned the ball back once and made a couple of decent chances for his teammates to score.
CM: Mason Mount – 8.5/10
Mount came back to defend when needed and was a constant menace in the Bournemouth half. He scored a good goal to double Chelsea’s lead in the 24th minute.
RW: Raheem Sterling – 8/10
The English sensation caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
ST: Kai Havertz – 8/10
The German sensation was a positive influence at both ends of the field. He deserves credit for ending the game with a goal and an assist to his name.
LW: Christian Pulisic – 6.5/10
Pulisic showed some flashes of what he is capable of but failed to register a goal.
