Brazil will lock horns with South Korea at Stadium 974, Doha on Monday night, hoping to pick up a positive result and progress into the quarter-finals of the World Cup campaign. Tite’s side will be heading into the match on the back of a surprising 1-0 loss to Cameroon, whereas Paulo Bento’s men recorded a thrilling 2-1 victory over Portugal.

Tite will probably opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation with several tweaks from the last game. Vinicius Jr. might get the nod over Gabriel Martinelli, whereas Neymar Jr. seems likely to make his way back into the starting eleven.

Alisson is expected to start in goal for the upcoming encounter. The Liverpool shot-stopper would be looking to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Monday.

Thiago Silva will continue to form the centre-half partnership with Marquinhos at the heart of Brazil’s backline.

Eder Militao is a guaranteed starter at the right back position, whereas Danilo will fill in on the other flank as the left back. The duo would be expected to stretch their side’s attack on either flank.

Fred and Casemiro will slot in as the central midfielders, looking to put up a strong performance and dominate the midfield proceedings against South Korea. Neymar will slot in as the attacking midfielder.

Fabinho will have to settle for a place on the bench but he might be called off the bench in the latter stages of the match if needed.

Vinicius Jr. and Raphinha will take up the wide positions, playing on the left and right wing respectively.

Richarlison is expected to lead the line for his side against South Korea. The 25-year-old striker would hope to get his name on the scoresheet when he faces off against the South Korea defence that has conceded four goals in their last two matches.
