West Ham United will face Leicester City as they welcome them to London Stadium on Saturday afternoon as both teams look to secure a win. The Hammers suffered a defeat via penalties against Blackburn Rovers while the Foxes recorded a comfortable 3-0 win against Newport County in the midweek EFL Cup fixtures. Both teams will be looking to collect maximum points going into this domestic contest at the weekend.

West Ham United Vs Leicester City: Talking Tactics

David Moyes will very likely set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation which has been working for the team recently. He is expected to revert to a strong playing XI for this home encounter, so we could see Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek return to the holding midfield positions to try and dominate the centre of the park.

Brendan Rodgers could opt for a 4-1-4-1 formation and is expected to make a few tweaks to the starting XI. Patson Daka will lead the line against the opposition while Danny Ward returns in between the sticks to replace Daniel Iversen.

West Ham United

West Ham will remain without Maxwel Cornet due to a calf injury, while Emerson Palmieri came off with a knock in the midweek defeat to Blackburn, so he will be assessed ahead of kickoff on Saturday. As for the Foxes, Justin joins fellow defenders Ricardo Pereira (Achilles), Caglar Soyuncu (hamstring) and Ryan Bertrand (knee) in the treatment room, with the former expected to be out for the rest of the season after undergoing a scan on Wednesday.
