Barcelona clashed heads with Viktoria Plzen at the Doosan Arena earlier tonight as they hoped to grind out a good result away from home in the UEFA Champions League. The Catalan giants made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the sixth minute when Marcos Alonso found the back of the net from close range. Ferran Torres made it 2-0 to Barca just before the half-time interval.
The home side pulled a goal back via Tomas Chory’s penalty in the 51st minute. However, Torres scored again just three minutes later.
